5 Free Resources for Creators

Nobody wants to pay a monthly fee for basic design needs. Here a few of my favorite free design tools that can come in handy for any creative!

  1. Dafont.com

Dafont is my go-to whenever I’m in need of a new font to add some flavor to my graphics. Dafont.com offers a variety of fonts that you can download to your computer for free and use in other applications (such as Photoshop, for example).

  2. Coolors.com

Pairing colors can by far be one of the most challenging tasks. Whether you're looking for the perfect color combination to use on your website, a new apparel design or just a flyer, Coolors is just right. You can choose from a variety of color palettes until you find the one that's perfect for you.

  3. Canva.com

Looking to make a quick graphic? Canva allows its users to create digital posters, presentations, animations, logos and more, for no cost at all. Personally, I enjoy using it especially for presentations because of the diverse range of templates provided.

  4. Wix.com

If you have a hustle or if you're a creator of any sort, there's a good chance that a website would be beneficial for you. Wix.com offers the opportunity to create your website from scratch or with the help of Wix ADI (Artificial Digital Intelligence) in case you're in need of assistance.

  5. Pantone.com

This website can be a bit difficult to navigate at times because of the various features it offers. It works well however, when looking for the codes of a specific color. Once the color is chosen, the website will provide the RGB & Hex Color codes (codes used to differentiate colors of different shades) which you can then input when searching for the same color on other design applications.
